I don't know if this is the right sub-forum for this; but someone wrote a review for a social justice comic without any consensus. Shan, bring that sheet about the review approval process you made the other day, 'cause it's gonna be useful.

Here it is:

Here's the comic just in case:

This comic is absolute garbage. The author is another idiot like the current one on the Assigned Male talk page who things referring to the existence of "studies" and "proof" is the same as presenting them. Why does everyone on the social left assume what they believe has mountains of research to prove it?

Regardless, this comic is even bad by political comic standards. The arguments are beyond retarded and mostly consist of one person truthing another person into silence with truthy truth. Naturally, no shred of the mountains of evidence alluded to are ever included with the comics that might justify the one-sidedness of the argument. I really would have loved to see the evidence transracialism was not only real but supported by centuries of data. That was a good one.

Oh, and this comic stole its punchline from South Park ("With Apologies to Jesse Jackson").

Well, this thing is here now. Who wants to run point on cleaning up the entry? It's rare that these things land fully formed like Athena bursting from Zeus's head after someone whacked him in the head with a hammer and I suspect this review did not (we have rules and a review process before entry for a reason but here we are).

Eh, I'm just gonna drop him a link to here. It's not the worst thing in the world he jumped the gun but he'll still need to communicate directly to wrap up the review.

Yes, I saw that. Nice touch.

It's certainly good enough to keep after the requisite polishing and I like I said, it's not like this sort of end-run happens very often. All they need to do is drop in and fix what needs fixing and pick up their Next Time, Do Things More Like This Pack (http://badwebcomicswikiforum.yuku.com/topic/967/The-process-to-create-a-new-review#.WT5RG2h97IU) and we're set.

Even if the comic is garbage, and the four example strips and blatant stolen joke in them, make me think it might well be. I can't be arsed to dig into it much further atm.

The review is also pretty damn awful, there's very little to it.

Well, I did say 'requisite polishing'.

Obligatory: "... and this is why we have a policy and a process." mention to really drive the point home as well.

Hey, OP here.
I know the review is low quality, sorry for that.
It was more of a template that I did at 4am and planned to finish today, but studies sucked up too much time and I couldn't get into the internet for anything besides college's website.
In the next few days I'm going to finish it, sorry for any inconvenience.

No-one's mad (the stakes are too low for that, I mean it's webcomics, come on) but for future reference, there's an approval process starting with creating a topic in the forums to find out whether you can even start a draft let alone creating a new article (even in template form) on the Wiki. So, please keep that in mind for next time. It's how we keep things from devolving into complete chaos here.

On that note, welcome aboard.

Yeah, I just re-read the newbie guide and noticed it, I was too sleepy last time and it just kind of went over my head lol.
Next time I find a bad webcomic I'll be doing that, thanks for the heads up.
