Righto, this is a comic I found on deviantart. You can find the author's page here: http://jocelynsamara.deviantart.com/
This webcomic has problems. Like, it was obviously made to channel the author's feelings while going sexual reassignment because all that happens in the comic only makes sense in that context. The comic stars Rain, the titular character, a transgender person whom goes to a catholic school with an improbable rainbow of LGBT + tumblr gendered people. Somehow all the *ahem* "cis gendered" people don't seem to notice a thing. In my mind it's like the show Invader Zim where Zim's classmates seem to be completely oblivious to the green alien sitting in class with them, just rationalizing it as him having a weird skin condition. Rain's situation is much the same because like Zim, she is at first super paranoid of being discovered but nobody seems to care. It only goes downhill when the aforementioned LGBT people become visible and the tumblr gendered start to enroll.
But that's only the start.
Backgrounds: there are none most of the time besides a shade of beige or lime green.
Art: It hasn't gone anywhere in the years it has been published over. The people still have simple anatomy and heads that look like featureless blobs that remind me of the changelings from Star Trek when they take humanoid forms.
People: People not acting like people. Because as wel all know, forcibly cutting somebody's hair and telling them to stop acting like they are a girl is a totally rational thing a human being would do and it would be totally reasonable to expect the cut-e and her friends to have no problem with that. Or at least it does when you don't know how to introduce conflict into your comic and need to make an antagonist for a chapter without actually trying.
In summary: I think this story is just a poorly thought out allegory for the author's life that sometimes looks like the author has no idea how to portray people with different orientations. I would even venture that the author isn't trans if it wasn't for the progress pictures she posts on her account showing the transition over the course of months.
Edit 4: The link for my draft. Now with everything revised and hopefully more coherant! http://badwebcomicswiki.shoutwiki.com/wiki/User:Colonel_Klink
